The abandonment of animals in Brazil occurs indiscriminately, and thousands of dogs and cats are abandoned in the streets for several reasons. Before leaving, the man must be aware that he is committing a crime. One solution to reduce the large number of abandoned animals is a responsible holding, and society must avoid this problem.
Unfortunately the animals are mistreated in the most perverse ways, however, with more severe penalties, these crimes would diminish. Research shows that adoption should be more frequent, and sterilization of pets is very important.
This theme is increasingly gaining more followers and protectors of animals that carry this cause for the welfare of the animal.
