Many dogs are chained day and night since they are puppies, and they age in the same conditions. It is not fair that they cannot run or move, and sometimes not even lie down. They sleep among their own feces and have no food near them.
The mistreatment of dogs that are chained all their lives must end. The Animal Protection Laws do not consider having a dog chained all his life as mistreatment, so we must ask the authorities to modify what is necessary to prohibit dogs chained all day.
An animal tied night and day to a chain is a battered dog that, in addition to loneliness, suffers other consequences. The dog that has a chain is not usually well fed or living in a suitable environment, and in addition to the physical effects of being condemned to live in two square meters of space, these dogs begin to develop stereotypies, repetitive movements caused by captivity and the lack of stimuli.
