Animals have the right to a dignified life, to food, veterinary care, affection and shelter. It is very sad to see them lying in the street, and on the other hand can be dangerous for the children that come to play as they can be bitten.
Throughout the Municipality of the Coast, hundreds of animals are seen in the streets. Being a tourist area, in summer many families buy animals for their children, and these are abandoned when they finish the vacations and return to their home. This terrible insensitivity has an impact on the lives of all those who live here all year and we have to deal with this problem.
Stray animals need a place where they can live, be fed and given in adoption. That is why I ask the Mayor of the Municipality of the Coast, Juan Pablo de Jesus, to build a shelter for stray animals. I hope you hear the neighbors' request.
